Just a note on how to order kits on littlehouserugs.com:

We have a Beginner Kits section, these are small, inexpensive kits, great for starting out, or just doodling out little projects. Those kits come with the yarn, pattern on burlap and hooking instructions, but they don't include a hook. You only need one hook, and many people order more than one kit, so I don't see any good reason to charge you for extra hooks you don't need. So if you're just starting out, plan on ordering a hook as well.

I also have a Special Package offer on the checkout page for all my kits and patterns. With that, you get one of my beginner books (Joy of Hooking With Yarn or T-Shirt Treasures) plus a free hook. If you're just starting out, that's a great way to get all the information you'll need and lots of free patterns to practice hooking hooking.

When it comes to my linen rug patterns, they are available by themselves (including a recommendation of the amount of yarn needed to hook the design), or at checkout, you can add on a Custom Kit in your choice of yarn or T-shirt strips. Then I'll work with you to provide you with the colors you prefer. All the colors are guaranteed, if one doesn't suit you, you can always return it and I'll try again!
