Get your digital version of Magpie Times: Summer Breeze now!
We were inundated with articles this time, so the issue is 98 pages long, and even with that, we moved a half-dozen articles to the September issue. Summer Breeze includes the work from 26 contributors and 14 free patterns.

I've got some Beginning Rug Hooking classes coming up:
The first is this coming Friday, June 5 at 9:30 AM at Fiber Fusion at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, WA. I'll also have my booth for the weekend. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi!

If you're planning on attending the Black Sheep Gathering in Albany, OR, I'm teaching on Friday, June 26, 2026, 1:30-4:30. Click here to register.
I'll also be teaching at the Pacific Northwest Fiber Expo in Port Angeles, WA in October. I'll post the signup link as soon as they open up registrations.
I've got some special discounts on the website this month. You can get a few of my remaining back issues of Magpie Times in print while they last for 50% off (plus postage). As always, my digital (flipbook) issues sell for only $12.50 (no postage and no waiting, you get a link in your email and you're off and running!)
Here are the discounted patterns on linen (20% off) until June 30, 2026:

Lady & the Unicorn, 34.5 x 45.5"

Bayeux Tapestry Pattern on linen, 66"x20" – Little House Rugs

I'm still hard at work on Don't Trash Your Stash - A Quilter's Guide to Rug Hooking, coming in 2027. I would love to include the work of as many artists as possible. I'm looking for any rugs hooked with cotton strips, large or small, and/or rugs hooked of quilt designs (any materials). Every contributor will receive a free flipbook when the book comes out.

Dresden Mat project from the book, hooked with batik cotton.
Be sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram for weekly projects and discounts!
Enjoy the sunshine everyone!
