Happy New Year everyone!
How about this lovely rug, hooked by Dianne Corso of Anacortes, WA?
Star Rug, 56"x32" designed by Judy Taylor, hooked by Dianne Corso
This Star Rug is a custom design, a larger version of my Star Rug. Dianne wanted to go big! And doesn't it look great with her quilt?
Dianne told me, "I had been collecting books about rug hooking for sometime, did a couple of very small pieces awhile ago. COVID lockdown sent me looking for a long term project and I decided to make a rug for my grandson, who was eight at the time. I decided on this. It kept me busy learning new skills and thinking about positive subjects. John likes it, but as it happens, he’s acquired two half grown kittens since I started the rug, so it will stay here in his room at Nana’s for the time being.
And yes, I made the quilt. Used to be an obsessive quilter until all friends and family held an intervention and pleaded with me to stop—-they had no more cupboard space, let alone beds!"
If you see anything you like on this website, but would like to have it in a different size, shape or color, email me! I welcome custom orders.
And it's not too soon to enter our 10K Loops Contest 2021!
