This hand-hooked design was inspired by a rug from Lord of the Rings, Return of the King. In the last few minutes of the movie, there was a shot of Frodo working on Bilbo's book, his back to the camera. For some reason, Peter Jackson didn't put the lovely round rug beneath Frodo in focus, so beyond the 8-pointed star in the center, I had to guess about the other details!

As with all of my hand-hooked designs, this rug is hooked on linen, in any color combination. If you have specific colors in mind that you would like me to match, you can mail me examples of the colors (fabric swatches, paint chips from the hardware store, etc). Email me for more information.
