What Happened To Summer?

What Happened To Summer?

It seems like summer lasted five minutes. How could it be that school has started up again? The apples and pears are falling from the trees! Time to get serious.

I have a couple of rug hooking classes coming up:

On October 1, I'll be teaching my Beginning Rug Hooking class at the Pacific Northwest Fiber Expo in Port Angeles, WA.

And on October 14, I'll be teaching again at Oregon Flock & Fiber in Albany, OR.

In both classes, students will get to practice hooking with yarn, T-shirt strips and wool fabric strips, plus all the basics you need to know to get started with this versatile craft (how much yarn/materials does it take to hook a rug, care and cleaning of hand hooked rugs, to frame or not to frame, and other burning questions!).

This month's specials are some of my Ancient designs, inspired by textiles and traditions of the past. Check them out here!

No more dilly-dallying. Let's get hooking!
