With my upright frame design, I found when I trimmed my tails, many would end up in my lap, or when I'm at a show, all around me on the floor (picture Pigpen in Charlie Brown). I made this handy dandy tail catcher using a 3" diameter metal ring (you can find these at Joann Fabrics or Michaels craft stores). I used felted sweater scraps for mine, but you can use any fabric, of course. For the body, cut a piece that's 9.5"x7," and for the bottom, a 3.5" diameter circle. Much better now!
