Whether you're looking for a quick, easy project, or something with more of a challenge, check out these web specials for the month of March!
Robin Tamagi shared an alteration to her DeLovely Frame, to raise it to a floor frame (standing to hook) with a clever innovation for bracing it at the bottom for a firmer structure! This kind of improvement works great for a floor frame but might get in the way if you're sitting in a chair (it would prevent you from tucking it in close), but it looks like a great idea for getting up off your chair to hook! I'm going to try it myself for when I'm hooking in my booth. Thanks, Robin!
And speaking of booths, I'll be doing two in-person shows this year! The first is Shepherd's Extravaganza, April 21-24 in Puyallup, WA. I'll also be teaching a beginner class on Friday, April 22 at the same event.
Then I'll have a booth at Fiber Fusion Northwest, June 4th & 5th, in Monroe, WA.
If you're looking for a class in Oregon, I'll be teaching Beginning Rug Hooking (where you'll learn to hook with yarn, T-shirt strips, and wool fabric strips) at the Black Sheep Gathering on Sunday, June 28.
Don't forget to enter the 10K Loops Showcase! Get published! Win Prizes! Just a small project and a story. What could be more fun?
Happy Hooking Everyone!
