What is the 10K Loops Showcase?
It's a contest of sorts we started a couple of years ago to celebrate our ten-thousandth member to Rug Hooking Daily (a free, interactive, worldwide, online rug hooking community). And since members of RHD are interconnected, we thought a small project of approximately ten thousand loops would be appropriate (roughly 2 square feet). And most importantly - a story (around 300 words, anything you'd like to tell us about your project, help us to notice the details).
First place: $150
Second place: $90
Third place: $60
The winners will be chosen by the membership (you must be a member to enter, but that's free and easy!). And every entry will be included in our annual book. The deadline to enter is May 31, 2022.
I'll have a booth at the Shepherd's Extravaganza April 21-24 in Puyallup, WA. I'll also be offering a Beginning Rug Hooking class there on Friday, April 22 from 10 to 1. Check the calendar for other upcoming events here.
