Teapot Rug  29"x19"
Design by Judy Taylor, Hooked by Virginia Morehead
Hi Judy:

I have been spinning my own wool yarn for years, and was getting quite a nice collection.  The beautiful colors just seemed to take up room on my shelves until I found your wonderful booth at the Black Sheep Gathering.  You were so kind and took the time to teach me how to "hook."  Your lesson was very easy to follow, and you showed me how to make a frame to work from.  I look forward to seeing you every year, I am truly "hooked."  Playing with colors is something that I have always loved and blending the colors in the rugs is such fun.  I find hooking to be very relaxing, fun, and I end up with something useful.

After trying to put the Teapot rug on the floor, I found that no one in the family wanted to walk on it, the rug is just too pretty.  I am entering it in our Josephine County Fair in August.  Our spinning group demonstrates at the fair, so my other rug, Birdhouses, is going to help decorate our spinning area.

Thank you so much for teaching me such a fun craft.

Sincerely,
Virginia Morehead
