I made this piece to thank my dear mom, who gave me a hand-made purple felt hat. I thought the least I could do was to give her a memento so she would always remember her gift to me.
I already had the frame, it was from an old mirror, long since broken. I always liked the frame, so I kept it.
I added beads to the hat after hooking, and clear leaf beads all around the hooked area to add some more delicacy to the edge, and to match the leafy frame.
