Teapot Rug

This rug is an ideal project for using up leftover bits of yarn. Each teapot can be made up in a whimsical variety of colors, or leftovers can be over-dyed to bring your hit-or-miss colors together.
I have made several versions of this design, sometimes with the same background color, sometimes each in a different color. In this latest example, I used a variegated yarn in two different colors for my background, then I followed the countours of the teapots, so the yarn created subtle color changes which "echoed" the teapots.
