I have hooked this rug several times, each time with a different color scheme. Each time it has struck me how easy and fast this pattern is! You can personalize the design by adding your own special touches, and you probably have the yarn or fabric strips leftover from other projects to make this one in your own way!
For this latest version, I overdyed Peace Fleece yarn, some with a light green dyebath and some with a light blue dyebath. I really like the way overdying different colors seems to bring everything together. If you have lots of leftovers, you can do the same thing. I usually overdye yarn or fabric with a pretty light application of dye, so all the original colors still are distinct.
